Epiphyllum • Queen Of The Night

I am commissioned by the Fonds Podiumkunsten and the K.F.hein Fonds to develop a new solo show for alto flute and electronics. Happy to grab that challenge and dive into a completely new world for me : creating music with a computer, controllers and effects (stomp boxes). I love it!

The new show is called Epiphyllum • Queen Of The Night. Slow music on alto flute in ambient electronic soundscapes. Inspired by a cactus that blooms just once, and only at night.

The first show is September 14th at : De Nacht Van Ontdekkingen“. It takes place in the tropical greenhouse garden of the Hortus Botanicus, Leiden, in front of a big big cactus. A worthy preview of this new show.
